How to Use the Resource Pack Merger

- Resolve Conflicts: If files exist in multiple packs, choose which version to keep. Use quick resolution to prefer one pack for all conflicts.
- Customize Folders: Select which folders to include or exclude (textures, sounds, models, etc.).
- Generate & Download: Click merge to create your combined pack, then download it as a ZIP file ready to use in Minecraft.
Why Merge Resource Packs?
Minecraft only allows one resource pack to be active at a time by default. While you can stack multiple packs, merging them into a single pack gives you better control over conflicts, reduces load time, and makes it easier to share your custom setup with friends or use on servers.

Common Questions
What is a resource pack conflict?
A conflict occurs when the same file exists in multiple resource packs you're merging. For example, if two packs both modify the same texture file, you need to choose which version to keep in your final merged pack.
Are my resource packs uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your resource pack files never leave your computer, ensuring complete privacy and faster processing.
What Minecraft versions are supported?
All Minecraft Java Edition versions are supported. The tool automatically detects and preserves the pack_format from your resource packs' pack.mcmeta files.
Can I merge Bedrock Edition resource packs?
This tool is designed for Java Edition resource packs. While Bedrock packs may partially work, they use a different structure and may not merge correctly.
Tips for Best Results
- Make sure all your resource packs are for the same Minecraft version to avoid compatibility issues.
- When resolving conflicts, consider which pack has the most complete textures or highest quality assets.
- Use the folder exclusion feature if you only want specific parts of certain packs (e.g., textures but not sounds).
- Test your merged pack in Minecraft before sharing it with others.
- If your merged pack is very large, consider excluding unused folders to reduce file size.
